Challenges in social advertisement networks
Social networks have been on the focus of study during the last decade due to the increase popularity of several commercial products. While social networks are present in different forms in nature, a special type of networks – advertisement networks, have gain popularity due to well known commercial products. Advertisement networks are special due to unique characteristics ranging from complexity, privacy, measurement metrics, vulnerability etc. Part of those aspect are specially actual due to the recent Facebook-Cambridge analytica scandal. In this talk, I will present many of the research problems and challenges present in these advertisement networks and discuss the implications in different fields based on research and data activity from StartApp.
